Newsletter

AIMS sends out a bi-annual newsletter that covers news of interest to society members. The newsletter deadline is the 15th of January, and July. Society members are encouraged to contribute. More immediate news of interest can be sent out to members via email. Click the links below to view the current newsletter.

Building a Model

A model of cytoplasmic structures involved in polarized cell growth were manually segmented and colorized from cells of the mold Aspergillus nidulans. Cells were prepared for transmission electron microscopy using cryopreparation methods and analyzed in three dimensions with electron tomography. (Robert Roberson)
